Jack DiFranco
Founder & Managing Director

Jack DiFranco is the founder and Managing Director of BeaconView Advisors, LLC and BeaconView Capital.  With over 30 years of M&A and transaction experience, Jack has assisted clients with acquisitions, divestitures, recapitalizations, and management buyouts.  He has also served as financial advisor on financing transactions for senior debt, subordinated debt, and private equity.  Throughout his career, Jack has served privately held business owners, publicly traded companies, and private equity firms.  He has advised on transactions in a wide range of industries including automotive, building products, industrial equipment, food processing, IT services, health care, business services, software, distribution, television & radio, education, insurance, and retail.

Prior to founding BeaconView, Jack led the Detroit practice for KPMG Corporate Finance LLC.  He also served as the National Managing Principal for the Corporate Finance, Transaction Advisory, and Private Equity Services Groups at Grant Thornton LLP.  Preceding his experience at Grant Thornton, Jack founded and was the Managing Director of the Investment Banking Group at Stout Risius Ross, Inc.  Earlier in his career, Jack was a member of the Investment Banking Groups at First of Michigan Corporation and Ernst & Young Corporate Finance.

Jack holds an M.B.A. degree (finance and corporate strategy) from the University of Michigan and a B.S. degree in finance from Oakland University. Jack is a registered representative of StillPoint Capital, holding his Series 7 (General Securities Representative), 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law), 24 (General Securities Principal), 79 (Investment Banking Representative), and 82 (Private Securities Offering Representative) registrations.  He is also a Licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Michigan.

Rand is responsible for taking the owner’s vision and driving the organization to execute the vision through developing appropriate initiatives, aligning primary job responsibilities and establishing supporting systems and procedures. Rand has a strong belief in developing teammates by allowing them opportunities for growth, placing a high value on generating a respectful culture that offers individuals the freedom to excel without jeopardizing accountability. Rand has 30 years of experience as a competitive leader focused on growth and shareholder value creation. Included in his accomplishments:

  • Vice President of Operations for an international Tier 1 Automotive Supplier.
  • Chief Operating Officer of a 20 site Fabrication Tier 1 Supplier to the Construction and
  • Agriculture, Automotive, and Performance Vehicle Industries.
  • President of an international entity in China.
  • President of an international entity in Mexico.
  • EVP of Operations for a $1.5 Billion logistics holding company with direct responsibility for the merger and acquisition of a multi -site value add assembly company serving the Automotive and Class 8 Truck Markets. Additional responsibilities included oversight of operations in Mexico and South America.
  • BA in Economics and Management from DePauw University.
  • MS in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University.

Kimberly Rodriguez
Executive and Entrepreneur

Kimberly is a renowned expert in transforming global organizations to maximize efficiencies in supply chain, manufacturing and operational performance. During her 30-year career, she has assisted automakers and suppliers in driving value creation by leveraging the interface between finance, operational (plant floor) efficiency, and the effective use of technology. Kimberly currently serves as a principal of her own firm SCRM, providing independent consulting services, largely to equity funds and multiple holding family funds relating to sales growth, efficiency and market strategy.

Most recently Kimberly was the Chief Executive Officer for Dura Automotive Systems. Prior to joining Dura, Kimberly was Chief Executive Officer of Rush Trucking, a $100 million long-haul trucking company. During the 2020 COVID Automotive shutdown, she helped to dramatically improve efficiency, reduce equipment cost in half and quadruple the customer base for Rush.

Kimberly sits on the Board of Directors for AMG Industries, LLC., and Romeo Rim, as well as on the Executive Committee and General Board for The Children’s Center, a Detroit-based non-profit. She is a founding member and the first female chair of the Private Director’s Association, which provides training and insight for existing and potential board members of privately held companies. In 2019 she was named “Director to Watch” by Directors & Boards Magazine.

Kimberly earned a Bachelor of Art in economics and accounting from Michigan State University and a Master’s in business administration from Walsh College.
