Panelists

Rob is a member of the Board of Advisors for multiple companies and has served as an independent board director, board advisor, public speaker, and retained consultant in areas including leadership, strategy, cybersecurity, digital transformation, operations and risk.

He is a highly experienced and successful cybersecurity, information technology and risk management senior executive and has led large, complex, diverse, and global operations. A retired Air Force general officer and decorated combat leader, he is a senior executive with documented high levels of success on the battlefield and in the boardroom, with a demonstrated history of leading in defense, interagency and cyber enterprises. He has partnered with multiple strategic advisory firms helping clients solve their toughest challenges.

Tandy serves as Shields Legal’s Transactions Leader. Tandy’s primary focus is corporate, finance, and mergers and acquisitions across a number of industries including commercial real estate, private equity and investment management transactions. Tandy represents corporate clients, entrepreneurs and family offices in connection with a variety of strategic transactions, capital formation and corporate governance, and has extensive experience with lender transactions, commercial real estate, and investment fund and asset management.

Larry is a proven and effective Board Director, Advisory Board member, strategic leader, serial entrepreneur and business builder with extensive experience assisting companies with growth and complex transactions.

Larry currently serves on the Advisory Board at Aezion, Stone ARX, Amegy Bank-Dallas, WhamTech, and BlockQAI. He has served as a Lead Director, Audit Committee Chair, and member of the Compensation Committee and the Nominating & Governance Committee for a public company and as a Board member for numerous private companies and non-profits. He is also a co-founder of the Dallas-Fort Worth Chapter of Private Directors Association.

Larry was awarded the Constantine “Connie” Konstans Award for Excellence in Corporate Governance in 2023 and Texas Society of CPAs Lone Star Pathfinder Award in 2000.

Moderator

Renee is a strategic, creative problem solver focused on executive search and board service. She is a creative, strategic thinker helping clients recruit and develop leaders. As an executive search consultant, she solves people problems – finding the right talent to help a business execute its strategy. She thinks strategically about client work to discern where to find leaders who will positively impact her client’s business.

Beyond her role or industry, she keenly focused on ensuring the executives she presents are well suited for the client’s strategic goals, upcoming trends, business arch and life cycle. As Pearson Partners works across industries, functional roles, and organization types, she looks for connections outside the obvious.
