Overview

  • The first Board was created in 1623.  Why was it created?
    • What was the mission of Board membership in 1623 and how has the mission changed today?
    • This program is not a history lesson.  It is a vehicle for a discussion about the role of the Board today using history as a framework.
  • Learning Objectives:
    • What are the core duties of Board membership?
    • Appreciate how little has changed since 1623 in corporate governance.

Thank you to our National and Gold Chapter Sponsors!
