A Note from the Venue

Masks must be worn in all common areas. The Hexa Center’s interior environment is cleaned and disinfected daily with an all-natural, non-toxic, safe, eco-friendly method of disinfecting and sanitizing, and tables are spaced 6 ft. apart to insure social distancing. We provide gloved waitstaff to serve all food and drinks during event to minimize contact with food.

Jim Drakeley has four decades of experience prosecuting and defending a broad range of business-related litigation, ranging from simple to complex matters. He has achieved meaningful outcomes for clients in disputes over complex contracts, employment matters, covenants to not compete, theft of trade secrets, commercial leases, commercial insurance policies, shareholder and partnership relations, and fiduciary duty obligations. In addition, he has served as outside general counsel for several of his corporate clients and regularly provides advice and counsel to his diverse client base, including companies, C-level executives, directors, shareholders, and employers on a variety of litigation, dispute resolution, business, and employment issues.

Jim has a built a strong reputation in and out of the courtroom. He has prosecuted and defended high stakes multimillion-dollar lawsuits for his clients, has successfully obtained favorable verdicts, and has extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution, including the successful mediation of numerous lawsuits and pre-suit disputes. His peers have given him an AV® Preeminent™ rating with Martindale-Hubbell for his ethical standards and legal ability. He recognizes the importance of zealously pursuing the client’s objectives, and works closely with his clients in developing strategic solutions to help successfully resolve their disputes and legal issues in a practical and cost-effective manner.

Jim helped found a law firm shortly after graduating from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in Dallas, Texas. He received his undergraduate degree from Western Kentucky University. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and belongs to both the Litigation section and the Labor and Employment section. He is also a member of the Dallas Bar Association.

Nick Galati is Vice President & Partner at RHSB Insurance where his primary focus is on risk management for middle market sized companies throughout various industry sectors. Nick has been with RHSB five years working with clients on their Property & Casualty Insurance programs including Directors & Officers Liability.

Prior to joining RHSB, Nick was part of the Financial Services group at a top national broker for nearly three years. During his tenure, he worked with a wide spectrum of clients from not-for-profits to Fortune 500 companies managing their Management Liability and Network Security/Privacy Liability programs. Directors & Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability, and Cyber Insurance were his areas of specialty.

Nick is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, where he received a BBA degree in Business Finance. He is currently working on completing the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.

Todd Amacher is a Managing Director at RGT, an independent, fee-only investment advisory firm. He has spent his career providing asset protection, estate, gift and income tax planning. Earlier in his career, Todd was involved in the tax departments of both a “Big Four” accounting firm and an international law firm.

Working as a facilitator between his clients and their outside attorneys and CPAs, Todd helps to align estate planning, charitable planning and asset protection with investment management goals. He also analyzes the cash flow, tax and other financial ramifications of proposed divorce settlements.Todd Amacher is a Managing Director at RGT, an independent, fee-only investment advisory firm. He has spent his career providing asset protection, estate, gift and income tax planning. Earlier in his career, Todd was involved in the tax departments of both a “Big Four” accounting firm and an international law firm.

Not only has Todd been recognized as one of the top attorneys in Dallas by D Magazine, but he has also been honored by the magazine numerous times as one of the best financial planners.

Generous with his time, Todd has been involved in numerous professional, pro bono and charitable organizations, including the AICPA, the Dallas Bar, Dallas Estate Planning Council, Financial Planning Association, The Collaborative Law Institute of Texas, The Dallas Foundation, SPCA of Texas and the Texas A&M Club. He has also volunteered with Junior Achievement, teaching children the importance of financial education.

Todd received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University and both his Juris Doctor and Master in Business Administration degrees from Baylor University. He is an attorney, a Certified Public Accountant, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®.

Larry King is a proven and effective strategic leader and business builder with over 30 years of middle market leadership experience. He founded and grew KBA Group, LLP into the largest Dallas based CPA firm with over 135 professionals, 9 Partners and a diversified menu of services and led the firm’s organic and strategic acquisition growth.  He then led the firm through a merger into a large national CPA firm, where he served as the Dallas office Managing Partner and then transitioned to the South Region Leader of their Transaction Services Group before taking early retirement in mid-2015. He has extensive experience with assisting clients with business strategy, financial reporting including going public transactions, and mergers and acquisitions from both the buy side and sell side.

Larry currently serves on the Board and as Lead Director and Audit Committee Chair for nDivision, Inc, a Dallas based Public Company in the IT managed services and outsourced help desk space. He is on the Advisory Board and serves as the CFO and COO at WhamTech, Inc., a privately held SmartData Fabric®security-centric distributed virtual data, master data and graph data management, and analytics platform solutions company in Dallas, TX. He was recognized for the TSCPA Lone Star Pathfinder Award in 2000, was a Boys & Girls Clubs Profiles in Leadership Semifinalist in 2003 and was Highlighted in D CEO Magazine in 2007. Larry is also an alumnus of the Dallas Regional Chamber of Commerce Leadership Dallas Class of 2011.
