Locking In Human Capital: How Family Owned Businesses Can Compensate Their Key Employees Like Family

Overview

Do you believe that the only way to retain key employees is to provide them with equity? If you are a family owned privately held company you have to look for creative ways to retain and grow key employees with compensation packages that treat them as family.

Northwestern Mutual is a leader in innovative compensation structures. We are honored to welcome NWM Chris Welton, MBA, CFA, CFP as a Private Directors Association Sponsor to share their expertise with our members.

Executives, company owners, and board advisors for private companies should join us for cocktails and light refreshments as we discuss ideas for innovative and effective compensation structures which treat your key employees like owners without giving them equity.

Chris Welton a Wealth Management Advisor & Managing Director at Northwestern Mutual will give you ideas on how to design a long-term incentive plan which can recruit, reward, and retain top talent while growing your enterprise value and giving your key people all of the financial benefits of ownership without the burden. You’ll walk away with an understanding of two ways to financially reward your key people and set up an actionable plan to get them to think more like owners and participate in long term profitability that they help create
