Jeff Hand

Jeff Hand is the President & Chief Executive Officer of ROSS Controls (ROSS), a privately-held international manufacturer of pneumatic valves and control systems.  ROSS is universally recognized as the global leader in fluid power safety solutions for the Industrial Automation and Process markets.  Since joining ROSS in 2002, Jeff has served in a number of leadership roles, starting out in Finance as the company’s Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer.  In 2009, Jeff began his transition into operations as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, then President of the North American Operations in 2011.  In May 2014, Jeff replaced John Smith as President & CEO of ROSS worldwide.  

 

Mary Lehmann

Retired VP of Finance & Treasurer at Amgen

Mary Lehmann has been on the Board of ROSS Controls (ROSS) since 2010, and its Chairperson since 2019.  Mary recently retired as the Vice President Finance and Treasurer of Amgen, a mega-cap, global biopharmaceutical company. In this role, Mary advised on capital allocation strategy, developed the strategy for, and led, the financings supporting several acquisitions; most notably the $10 Billion acquisition of Onyx Pharmaceuticals in 2013 for which she managed bridge and loan financings totaling $8 Billion.  Prior to joining Amgen, Mary served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Treasury, Corporate Strategy, M&A, and Investor Relations at Meritor (a supplier of heavy duty axles, brakes, and other components to the heavy truck and industrial sectors).

 

Lou Schmidt

Lou Schmidt, is the former President and CEO of The HoneyBaked Ham Company, a family-owned company he began working for in 1981. The organization was founded by his grandfather, the late Harry J. Hoenselaar in 1957. Today, The HoneyBaked Ham Company has over 450 stores in 40 states and is the nation's leading retailer of spiral-sliced and glazed gourmet hams.  Lou sits on the Honey Baked Board of Directors and is shareholder, officer, and active committee member of the parent company. In addition to his responsibilities at HoneyBaked, he holds other leadership positions, including his role as a Trustee on the Walsh College Board of Trustees in Troy, MI.  He is active on several committees at Walsh, including Executive, Governance and Compensation, and the Finance and Planning Committees.  Lou is also the chairman of the Walsh College Foundation Board of Directors, which is responsible for increasing the college’s endowment and raising scholarship funds for current students.  Lou is the Chairman of Crime Stoppers of Michigan Board of Directors where they work to empower people to make their communities safer through the anonymous reporting of crime, while working with law enforcement agencies within the 7 counties of Southeast Michigan. He has been an active member of Young President's Organization (YPO) since 2003.  Lou earned both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Finance degrees from Walsh College.

John Falcon, CPA is a Senior Vice President of Corporate Development & Administration/Treasurer ROSS Controls.  In his role, John is responsible to actively support the Company’s long-term business plan through strategic relationships and inorganic expansion, as well as provide leadership and oversight to Finance, Human Resources, and IT to ensure functions fully support the Company’s development.  Prior to this role, John held both the Chief Financial Officer and Director of Finance roles at ROSS.  Prior to joining ROSS, John was a Manager of Tax for Plante Moran.  John holds both a Bachelor of Accountancy and a Master of Science in Taxation from Walsh College.  John is a Board Member with the Walsh College Foundation Board of Directors and is a Steering Committee Member for the CFO Leadership Council (Detroit Chapter) and a Program Committee Member (Detroit Chapter) for the Private Director’s Association.
