Private Directors Association Cybersecurity Committee

An increasingly prominent issue facing businesses large and small today is cybersecurity. The Private Directors Association® (PDA) has made cybersecurity a board governance information priority since 2016 and continues to expand its efforts in this area. Through webinars, whitepapers, and other educational resources, PDA is providing the highest level of insights and guidance for private company owners.

The average cybersecurity incident at a small or medium-sized company leads to $2 million of business interruption losses. Yet only 30% of organizations believe they are adequately prepared for the evolving nature of cyber threats. The C-suite must formulate a strategy to defend its most valuable assets, allocate sufficient resources, and vigorously improve its cybersecurity posture. The PDA Cybersecurity Committee invites you to consider these ten guidelines:

Cybersecurity Governance for Private Companies with a Non-Governing Board

Cybersecurity Governance for Private Companies with a Governing Board

PDA has established a cybersecurity leadership team consisting of a Strategic Council and an Oversight Board to assure timely and highly relevant communications to our members. The teams overseeing and advancing these efforts are listed below.
