Two Incumbents Win Re-Election as Three Others Set to Join PDA Board

Two incumbents were re-elected to the PDA Board of Directors and will be joined by three new Board members after the PDA Board Elections concluded Oct. 30. 

Anne Mervenne (Detroit Chapter) and Maryann Waryjas (Chicago) will return to the Board for another three-year term while Ferey Faridian (Southern California),Jonathan Krause (San Francisco) and Bryan Stewart (At-Large) will be incoming Board Members, set to start their terms on Jan. 1.

“Congratulations to Anne, Bryan, Ferey, Jonathan, and Maryann on their election to the PDA Board of Directors,” said Elaine Eisenman, PDA Board Chair. “It’s wonderful to welcome these newest Board Members who will bring unique perspectives and mindsets to our Board and to join us in continuing our work in building PDA’s strong foundation for ongoing growth and impact.

“I can't wait to see the impact they will have on the future of private board governance."

The election, which ran from Oct. 16 to Oct. 30, was open to all active PDA members and was managed by Election Services Corporation, a third-party vendor focused on election security, accuracy and delivering timely results.

“Overall, we received a strong voter turnout and are thankful to those PDA members who took the time to join in this electoral process,” said Susan Kearney, PDA Board Member and Nominating & Governance Committee Chair. “Election Services Corporation did a tremendous job overseeing our election, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of this process. 

“We’re excited to welcome back two incumbent board members and are looking forward to the three new Board members joining us.”
