Nancy M. Dahl’s executive career spans five industries ranging from companies $20M-750M in size where she served as President and COO, including Lifetouch, Tastefully Simple, Cambria, Nordic Ware and Securian. She is an award-winning author of GROUNDED: Leading Your Life with Intention. Nancy’s leadership has been recognized and earned numerous awards including The Business Journal’s “Top 25 Women to Watch”, and “Women who Lead”.
Now her work as a Corporate Board Director and Strategic Advisor, she melds years of hands-on experience with her deep analysis of what actually works. Her board experience spans 18 boards over the past 20 years ranging from early stage to $1Billion in revenue. Nancy believes boards can represent a key competitive advantage at a time when so many of the external market and political challenges that companies face are well beyond their control. Her work has garnered the Advanced Fellowship Distinction from The National Association of Corporate Directors and she has been recognized as an “Outstanding Corporate Board Director”.
As an expert commentator on leadership, leading innovation and transformative change, she has been a TEDx speaker, contributed to NBC, ABC, and Business Journals. Nancy earned an M.B.A. from the University of St. Thomas and is an alumnus of the Executive Education Program at the University of Minnesota, as well as earned undergraduate degrees in business and communications, minors in speech and psychology from Gustavus Adolphus College.
She has been married for 39 years to Brian. Together they enjoy life’s adventures with their boys Erik and Jorgen and their families, hunting, fishing, skiing, riding motorcycles, at the cabin or farm. Nancy is an avid photographer so she enjoys capturing the experiences and stories of their time together

Chris Heim is a servant-minded leader, guided by a passion for helping people achieve excellence in business, community, and personal pursuits. Chris has served as a CEO for three companies of $35M to $100M revenues, is a Board Director for two mid-market companies, and the Mayor for the City of Medicine Lake. He is known for building high-performance teams, scaling business operations, and innovating fresh solutions. His people-first leadership style is centered on helping others celebrate the best version of themselves - every day - as they simultaneously create remarkable outcomes for the organizations they serve.
Outside of his executive leadership positions, he is a mentor for software entrepreneurs through MESA and a retired volunteer firefighter with 20 years of service. He also enjoys doing an endurance event each year, with two recent highlights being a full Ironman triathlon and swimming Alcatraz off the shores of San Francisco. Chris and his wife, Heidi, have been married for 26 years and have two college-aged children.

Anne Sample is an experienced business and HR leader, and the CEO/owner of Navigate Forward. She has a track record of leading business-building transformation and developing top talent.
