Lacey Wismer Founder and Managing Partner Hunter Search Capital
|
Lacey Wismer is the founder and Managing Partner of Hunter Search Capital. Previously, Lacey spent ten years managing private equity investments with an emphasis on search funds for Hunter Trust, during which time she made over 50 investments in the search fund space. Lacey is a Co-Founder of Women’s Search Network, a group formed to encourage more women to consider entrepreneurship through acquisition as a viable career path and to support female searchers and CEOs achieve the highest levels of success.
Prior to joining Hunter Trust in 2009, Lacey was a healthcare investment banker at Deutsche Bank with an emphasis on M&A in healthcare services. She was also a consultant for the Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at the Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB). Before attending business school, Lacey worked in corporate sales and athlete management for a sports management firm.
Lacey received a B.A. with Honors from the University of Colorado in 1999 and an M.B.A. from the Stanford GSB in 2004. Lacey has held various board roles for non-profits, including currently as a Private Equity Committee Member for the Stanford Business School Trust Board and an ongoing Alumni Admissions Interviewer for Stanford University. She resides with her husband and their three children in Park City, Utah.

Patrick McGuiness

Patrick McGuiness is an attorney, director, and army reserve officer. His law firm assists small to medium sized businesses with a variety of legal needs, including mergers, and succession planning. Patrick serves on the boards of directors for Minnesota Lawyers' Mutual Insurance Company, Hiway Credit Union, and the Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association. He is also an officer in the U.S. Army Reserve and is currently an assistant professor in the law department at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

Jennifer Johnson SVP, Finance & Operations Capmation

As SVP of Finance and Operations at Capmation, Jennifer provides strategies for expansion and growth and develops policies and procedures that improve internal and external experiences and create deeper relationships with employees and clients.
With 23 years of accounting, finance and operations experience in the IT field, Jennifer draws on her distinct analytical and communication skills to build strong cultures, efficient processes and sound strategies that help partners modernize, integrate, innovate and automate through technology. She has a track record of helping organizations achieve record profits, revenues and stock growth.
Throughout her career, Jennifer facilitated more than 50 buy-side acquisitions as the CFO and EVP of Acquisitions and Integration at Marco. As the CFO and board member, she helped facilitate the sale of Marco to a private equity firm in 2015 beginning with response to a solicitation through closing of the transaction. Jennifer also sat on the board and was a transaction committee member for a large ESOP company that sold in 2021.
Jennifer has achieved many honors including Central Minnesota's "5 Under 40" by Times Media, Finance & Commerce's Top Women in Finance, and Minneapolis St Paul Business Journal's CFO of the Year (Medium Private Company).
Jennifer has a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. Cloud State University and was a Certified Public Accountant.
