Cyber Incident Response Preparedness at the Board Level
Overview
Participants will work through the process of dealing with a simulated incident scenario including hands-on training that will highlight potential oversights in incident response planning. With a board’s-eye view of public relations, legal, insurance, planning, and oversight, participants will leave with an understanding of: What each member of their executive team’s roles and responsibilities are during incidence response; When to bring in outsiders and what to communicate with them (e.g., press, insurance companies, etc.); How to streamline the response process to minimize the negative impact of the incident; How to identify weaknesses in their security programs that will reduce the possibility of an incident.
A box lunch will be provided following the exercise. Please note that this event is limited to the first 30 registrants, so don’t delay!
