Scott McWilliams is currently an Operating Partner with Longue Vue Capital (LVC), headquartered in New Orleans, Louisiana. As an Operating Partner, Scott helps the team source, evaluate and execute new opportunities in the transportation and logistics sector. Scott works closely with management teams post-closing in various roles to drive long term value in LVC’s transportation and logistics portfolio. To date, Scott has closed three platform companies and two add-on acquisitions.

Scott’s 43-year career in transportation and logistics includes 28 years in various roles with GEODIS (formerly Ozburn-Hessey Logistics (“OHL”) and nine years with the Kroger Company as Director of Logistics. In addition to serving as CEO of OHL for 13 years, Scott held various other roles within the organization including President of Transportation Management, Executive Vice President of Strategic Development, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Customer Officer. During his tenure, OHL made 11 acquisitions, entered into 2 joint ventures and made 2 divestitures. Scott also sits on the board of seven other privately held companies in the transportation and logistics sector, primarily involved in third party logistics, beverage distribution and last mile, time critical transportation.

Scott led OHL through two sales to private equity firms (Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and Welsh Carson Anderson and Stowe) and played a key role in the sale of OHL to Geodis in 2015. Scott also served in leadership roles in various trade organizations, including the International Warehouse Logistics Association, Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals and the Warehousing Education and Research Council.

Scott enjoys traveling, boating and spending time with his wife Leslie, two grown sons and two grandchildren. He has been active on the boards of a wide variety of non-profit organizations over the last 35 years and enjoys volunteering with many non-profit organizations in the Middle Tennessee Area.
