From Protection to Resilience: Boardroom Perspectives on Cyber Governance Evolution

Overview

Cyber protection has long been a priority for companies, with most efforts focused within the IT department. However, as cyber risks become increasingly critical to business operations, the conversation has expanded to include the entire organization and its board of directors.

This session will explore the shift from a focus on cyber protection to a broader emphasis on cyber resilience, preparing boards to adapt to this new paradigm.

Marc Wolfe
President
Marc A. Wolfe Enterprises, LLC

Marc A. Wolfe takes audiences on an unexpected leadership journey – from capturing defining moments through his camera lens to guiding executives at elite global companies on transformational growth.

Though kicked out of his 4th grade NJ public school for being “too helpful,” Marc rebounded from this life-altering event to realize his purpose: unlocking human potential. This calling sparked a winding career across photography, technology innovation consulting, and leadership coaching.

Marc started a freelance photography business at 16 years old and went on to photograph President George H Bush as well as celebrities, dignitaries, and NFL Teams. He then leveraged his creative eye to become an early Apple computer pioneer, helping companies like CNBC, TXU Communications, GAF, BD, Tiffany & Co, as well as Bermuda Yellow Pages and non-profits like the United Nations Development Programme and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, navigate the Macintosh platform before the iPod even existed.

Marc earned his marketing degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University while owning two businesses. However, adding to his experience as an innovation and strategy consultant, he expanded his learning when he became an International Coaching Federation (ICF) certified coach. Blending insights across healthcare, retail, entertainment, finance, and more, Marc assisted leaders at organizations such as Tufts Health Plan, Ramsey Solutions, Synnex, Thread Bank, and Choice Hotels Owners Council.

Expanding his impact, Marc shared practical leadership perspectives with Forbes.com, also as an INC5000 Mentor plus Facilitator for Marshall Goldsmith’s prestigious MG100 executive coaching cohort.

Marc moves audiences through humor, authenticity, and actionable content. Attendees leave educated, encouraged, and energized to maximize their leadership potential. His forthcoming book “Yeah But...Cut Through the Noise to Live, Learn and Lead Better,” captures the strength and ability to get unstuck, which is so vital now for growth. The difference is in the details when crafting stories that captivate, transform, and endure. That’s why he is always “Turning Conversations into Outcomes”

Marc is originally from New Jersey but now is nestled outside the hustle and bustle of Nashville, TN, with his forever bride, while his two adult daughters and family are close by,
