Steve Schilling is a Senior Vice President and Managing Director responsible for Bernstein’s private client practice in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to assuming his current role in July 2019, Steve was the western regional director of Bernstein’s Wealth Strategies Group that is focused on creating differentiated wealth planning analytical tools and research insights for high-net-worth and nonprofit clients, and working with those clients and their professional advisors to develop comprehensive wealth management and wealth planning strategies. Steve joined Bernstein in 2000 and has been an author of and contributor to the firm’s numerous published research black books and white papers. He earned a BA in economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder.

           

Ashley Velategui, CFA

Ashley E. Velategui is a Director in Bernstein’s Wealth Strategies Group and is based in the firm’s Seattle office. She works closely with high-net-worth families and individuals and their professional advisors on a variety of complex investment planning issues, including pre-transaction planning, multigenerational wealth transfer, retirement planning, philanthropy, and diversification planning for holders of concentrated portfolios. Ashley joined the firm in 2007 and began working with the Wealth Strategies Group in 2011, serving as an analyst and senior analyst before becoming an Associate Director in 2014. She earned a BA, magna cum laude, in mathematics and economics from Whitman College and is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder.

Jason Nossiter

Jason Nossiter is a Principal and Financial Advisor in the San Francisco office of Bernstein Private Wealth Management. In his practice, Jason partners with business owners, corporate executives, and leading non-profits to help them achieve their unique investment and wealth planning objectives.

A San Francisco native, Jason joined Bernstein in June 2008 as an Associate and assumed his current role in 2012. Prior to Bernstein, Jason was an investment banking analyst with Bancroft Partners, a boutique investment bank focused on providing capital raising and M&A advisory services to early stage consumer products and technology companies. Jason graduated magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa with a BA in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and an International Diploma in Political Science and International Relations from the Institut D’Études Politiques, Paris. Jason serves on the board of The Guardsmen, an all-volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to providing scholarship and campership opportunities for at-risk youth in the Bay Area. Jason also serves as chair of the San Francisco chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth Rising Stars and the French American International School’s Alumni Council.
