How to Acquire a Seat on a Private Company Board (Interactive Workshop)

Overview

The Private Directors Association (PDA) is proud to present an interactive workshop on our most popular topic: how to acquire a seat on a private company board. Joel Koblentz is the Founding Partner of the Koblentz Group, an Atlanta-based Executive Search and Board Placement firm. He has served on many private boards, and offers some useful insights regarding how to obtain a board seat. As Part 1 of a three-part series, we will hear Joel tell us the "3 critical requirements" for obtaining a board seat, as well as the importance of the "influential 100" in networking. The short excerpt from Mr. Koblentz's remarks will be followed by an interactive workshop, led by Valerie Darling, a PDA Atlanta Chapter founder. In addition to being on the National PDA Board, she is active on several corporate Boards in the healthcare industry. Note: this is a PDA "members only" event.

The venue is one block away from the Arts Center MARTA station. Parking for One Atlantic Center is across the street from the building.
