Overview

Three Cybersecurity experts from academia and commerce will join to discuss key concerns/issues that board members need to know as they help management teams navigate changes and challenges in cybersecurity technology, including cloud based ERP systems, shifts in workspace environments, and globalization policies in a fluid and dynamic economic environment.

Dr. Robert Koepp
Assistant Professor
Chapman University

Robert Koepp serves as Director of the Asia-Pacific Geoeconomics and Business Initiative and as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Strategy at the Argyros School of Business and Economics at Chapman University.

Prior to his roles at Chapman, Rob led the Corporate Network in Hong Kong for The Economist Group, a position in which he served as both a senior editor and chief economist. He has authored two full-length books, Betting on China: Chinese Stocks, American Stock Markets, and the Wagers on a New Dynamic in Global Capitalism and Clusters of Creativity: Enduring Lessons on Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Silicon Valley and Europe’s Silicon Fen. His previous work in global media also includes both entertainment as well as infotainment. Leading up to its acquisition by Disney, at Marvel Entertainment Rob served as the company’s Chief Representative in Asia. He also was the English editor and translator of a best-selling Japanese manga biography on George Soros.

Rob has written a wide range of in-depth reports covering such topics as geopolitical shifts from Covid-19, disruptive technologies, digital economics, Big Data, China’s sports industry, China's Belt and Road Initiative, Asian business trends, and comparative government technology industrial policies. He frequently appears on television and at public forums discussing global trends and how to interpret ongoing developments across the Asia-Pacific.

A graduate of Pomona College (where he was a Truman Scholar and Watson Fellow) with a degree in Asian Studies, Rob earned an MBA from the University of Cambridge. He is fluently literate in Chinese (Mandarin) and Japanese.

Ardelle St.George is the Managing and Named Partner of a corporate and intellectual property law firm, ST.GEORGE & CARNEGIE and the President & CEO of an international solutions and licensing company, NAUTILUS GLOBAL SOLUTIONS, LLC, d.b.a., Nautilus Licensing. Ardelle serves on various Boards and Committees of entities and organizations such as U.S. Bank, PBS Stations, American Heart Association, the Wyland Foundation and United Nations Environment Programme. Her professional affiliations include membership in the California and Missouri Bar Associations, American Bar Association, Secret Service Cyber Task Force, FBI InfraGard Program, Association of Corporate Counsel, California Department of Real Estate, Society for Corporate Governance and National Association of Mediators and American Arbitration Association.

Ardelle has been serving as General Counsel & Corporate Secretary for an international consortium, consisting of major Fortune 50 companies and government agencies. Ardelle also serves as Counsel to PBS and the National Educational Telecommunications Association, with Member Stations including a flagship PBS Station for Southern California and other public media broadcasting Stations. Previously, Ardelle served as General Counsel for the Data Systems Division of General Dynamics, Of Counsel at Bryan Cave International Law Firm and General Counsel for KOCE-TV/PBS SoCal. Ardelle just launched a nation- wide CyberSecurity Program Series for the public media market, including PBS Stations.

Ardelle’s international legal practice includes the areas of Corporate/Business Law, Intellectual Property Law, CyberSecurity, Corporate Governance and Compliance, Internet Law, Digital Media Law, Digital Transformation, Telecommunications Law, Artificial Intelligence, Augmented, Virtual and Mixed Reality, Trademark & Copyright Counseling, Branding Strategies, Management & Licensing, Contract Law, Corporate Risk Management, Regulatory Law, Transactional & Litigation Support and Intellectual Property & Technology Licensing in association with her Solutions & LArdelle holds a Juris Doctorate (JD) and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of San Diego. Ardelle has earned Executive Certification and Programming in Cyber Security, Digital Transformation, Sustainability and Artificial Intelligence (including Augmented, Virtual and Mixed Reality) from the Harvard Business, Applied Computer Science, Law and Kennedy Schools. Matt Stamper

Matt Stamper is a multi-time CISO with extensive experience in IT security, cybersecurity, IT audit, risk management, and governance. Matt is a former research director and security analyst at Gartner (NYSE:IT) and has extensive experience in IT service management including international experience in Latin America and China.

Paul Bergman is an experienced leader in small business. He has participated at the executive level in a number of small businesses from start-up to exit. His passion for small companies shows in his consulting practice that now focuses on delivering corporate advice and leadership at a price point friendly to small companies. "Think of me as that business savvy friend that you want to have lunch with every month. Now add the accountability that a friend can't provide. That's me."

Paul graduated from the University California, San Diego, with a Bachelors in Management Economics and Decision Systems and has an MBA from USC’s Marshall School of Business. Paul also holds a number of professional certificates in Executive Leadership and Cybersecurity.

Paul believes strongly in education and giving back to the community and serves as Chair of the Board at the Lamp of Learning in San Diego. This scholarship program helps under-represented students achieve the goal of a secondary education. With a 95% college graduation rate and 45% going on to post-graduate education, he has a lot to be proud of!
