Lynn Nowicki Clarke
NACD Private Company Director of the Year

Lynn Clarke has two roles. She serves on several boards as Independent Chair, Lead, or Director. Lynn is also an Operating Partner for early-stage companies, guiding them to profit stage and exit. She was named the 2021-22 Private Company Director of the Year for the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD). She was also named a Director to Watch by the PDA in 2020.

Lynn is a three-time CEO and has executive experience in the Fortune 50. Lynn also has been Interim CEO for two companies whose boards she chaired. Prior to her CEO roles, Lynn was an executive at PepsiCo in general management, branding, strategy, operations, manufacturing and distribution. After serving as CEO for two PE companies, she acquired and sold an award-winning e-commerce business in the upscale branded kitchen products/home goods category. She has worked in more than 10 industries including: CPG, food, beverage, digital, manufacturing, home goods, energy, distribution, food service and technology.

Lynn is a frequent speaker at private company and entrepreneurial programs, and has been on the board of 2 local NACD chapters, Atlanta and Connecticut. Lynn attended the YPO Harvard Business School leadership program and Wharton Business School Directors program. She has an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh and a B.A. in Journalism & Communications from Point Park University.

           

Paul Bartelt
President & CEO
The Vollrath Company

Paul Bartelt is president and CEO of Wisconsin-based Vollrath Company. He’s held this position since 2009 after joining as Chief Operating Officer in 2008. Before joining Vollrath, he worked at Kohler Company for nine years, first directing cast iron and stainless-steel operations, and then as president of the engine division. Paul received his MBA from the University of Iowa and a Master of Science degree in metallurgical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Paul is passionate about leading growth and innovation while making a positive impact both at the corporate level and in the communities Vollrath serves.
