Jeff Stoebner
CEO
AVI Systems


Jeff Stoebner joined AVI Systems in 1993. He first worked in technical services then become a sales representative at AVI. He also spent time as a Regional Vice President, Vice President of Marketing and as Chief Operating Officer. Today Jeff serves as Chairman and CEO at AVI, which now has more than 1,100 employee-owners. He is responsible for the overall planning and strategic direction of the company. In 2010, Jeff was named by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal as one of Minnesota’s “40 Under 40.” He also received the “Movers and Shakers” award presented by the National Systems Contractors Association. He has served as a board member of the audiovisual industry’s largest trade association, InfoComm International (2013-2014), as well as board member of the International Communications Industries Foundation. Jeff won the Systems Contractor News (SCN) Hall of Fame award in 2015. Under his leadership, AVI Systems was ranked by SCN as the #1 global systems integrator in 2022. In addition to his role as CEO, Jeff serves as chairman of the board of GPA, a global technology integrator that delivers solutions and services to help organizations and people communicate and collaborate better around the world.

       

Jim Shaw

Jim joined Coborn’s, a Minnesota ESOP, in June of 2016 and serves as EVP, CFO, and a member of the Board of Directors, having oversight responsibility for all aspects of Finance, Information Technology, Legal/Compliance and Asset Protection. In this position, Jim partners with leadership to support growth -both through acquisition and organically - improve profitability and build corporate value.

Prior to joining Coborn’s, Jim served in several roles for Donaldson Company from 2004 to 2015 and was their CFO from 2011 to 2015. Jim’s career also includes time spent serving clients in public accounting with Deloitte & Touche LLP and Arthur Andersen LLP. Jim is a graduate of St. John’s University in Collegeville, MN.

       

David Moeller

David created the vision of “Reshaping the industry through passion, service and technology to maximize value for our customers”. He was instrumental in developing the strategy to grow Inside Edge from startup to $140M and led acquisition efforts of multiple complimentary business units to generate new revenue opportunities. David evaluated multiple exit strategies and oversaw ownership transition of the company to an ESOP in 2014. Following the transition to ESOP ownership, David recruited outside board of directors to provide strategic insight and governance. Wil has been with Chartwell for over 20 years and is a member of the firm’s corporate finance practice. He focuses on providing ownership transition strategies to middle-market companies, including the execution of traditional M&A processes for both sell-side and buy-side transactions. He provides corporate consulting services to both private and ESOP-owned companies and has experience within a variety of industry sectors. Wil also has significant experience in performing valuations of privately held companies for corporate planning, equity compensation, tax, financial reporting, and transaction related purposes.
